First up, meet Len Halverson from our Warehouse division!
1. Len, tell us about yourself…
I was born and raised in Surrey BC, which is still where I currently reside. I have one daughter who is 18 years old. In my spare time, I like to bike, hike and travel back roads by 4×4. I have worked at Radius for just over 3 years now, starting as a Logistics Manager then moved into the Warehouse. Prior to Radius Logistics I worked at Loomis Courier for 26 years as an Area Manager.
2. What do you do at Radius Logistics?
I work in the warehouse division at Radius Logistics. We bring in the trucks from California and help dispense the product and freight to our customers across the country. My job entails a variety of things from managing the cross docking, warehouse, and storage to other special projects like repackaging for a client or container de-stuff / stuff.
3. What do you love most about your job?
The people. We have a great bunch here at Radius Logistics and it makes the time go by enjoyably
4. If you could travel one place by air freight, ocean freight or ground freight, where would it be and which method of transportation would you choose?
I think I would take a different route than most and choose to go to Galapagos Island – which is off the coast of Ecuador. I would travel there by ocean freight.
5. If you were stuck on a desert island and could only have 1 item couriered to you by Radius Courier to you – what would it be?
I would get Radius to courier a boat to me, that way I wouldn’t be stranded any more
6. If you could pick your dream car to be transported to you- what would it be?
My dream vehicle would probably be a Hummer!
7. What’s your go to travel song?
I’m not much of a music person, but maybe something by Miranda Lambert – she has a nice voice.
